- Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick Lite, Fire TV Stick 4K and Fire TV Stick 4K Max running Fire OS
- Fire TV Cube and smart TVs with Fire TV built in that run Fire OS
- Not compatible: Fire TV devices running Amazon's Vega OS (for example the Fire TV Stick 4K Select). Vega OS does not allow apps to be installed from outside the Amazon Appstore. Check under Settings > My Fire TV > About.

- Use the Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max if you want 4K streams; the Lite and HD models output up to 1080p.
- Connect with an Ethernet adapter where possible. If you must use Wi-Fi, choose your router's 5 GHz network.

- Clear space by uninstalling apps you don't use. Low storage slows Fire TV down.

For 4K streams choose a Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max running Fire OS. They have more memory and faster Wi-Fi than the Lite. Avoid Vega OS models such as the Fire TV Stick 4K Select, because they cannot install the XCodes IPTV app.
Do I need a VPN to use IPTV on Firestick?
